Greetings from Eileen Moore, M.D.
Welcome to the website of the John Carroll Society. We just celebrated the 70th anniversary of our founding in 1951 under the then leadership and guidance of Archbishop O’Boyle, only three short years after the founding of the Archdiocese of Washington in 1948. The Society is dedicated to enhancing the spiritual, intellectual and social fellowship of its members. On this website, you will find the many events the Society will hold this year and the success of these wonderful events depends upon your involvement and attendance.
The Society is committed to the mission of evangelization at work and home. The events of the Society are a terrific way to enrich your faith. Reach out to your friends and acquaintances and bring them to a John Carroll Society event. Doing so is not only a nice gesture, but also it is a prayerful, meaningful and enjoyable way to recover from months of quarantine.
In a special way, we look forward to your involvement in the Red Mass and the Rose Mass as we dedicate ourselves to honoring those who give so generously year in and year out to those in our community most in need of assistance. Thank you for your continuing support of the Society and I look forward to seeing you at our many wonderful events with our Chaplain, Monsignor Vaghi and our Archbishop, Wilton Cardinal Gregory.
Faithfully in Christ,
Eileen Moore, M.D.
