The Annual Dinner

The John Carroll Society Annual Dinner Awards are presented to distinguished Catholics in recognition of lifetime achievement, public service, outstanding leadership, and commitment to their faith. Our awardees reflect the vision of faith exemplified by Archbishop John Carroll, spiritual leader and patriot of colonial times. As citizens and as believers dedicated to the common good of our society, they champion his example by living their faith fully at home, at work, and in their communities.

Connecting faith with daily life was the hallmark of the exemplary witness of Archbishop Carroll. So, too, it is the mission of the John Carroll Society to inspire and encourage its members to live their faith, guided by the Church, and thereby enrich their families, their workplaces, their communities and the Nation.

Gathered at the 2015 Annual Dinner are Terry Lindsay (honoree), Msgr. Peter J. Vaghi (JCS Chaplain), Amy Baier (Dinner speaker and honoree), Sister Mary Bader, DC (honoree), His Eminence, Donald Cardinal Wuerl (Archbishop of Washington), Morgan Wooten (honoree), and Elizabeth B. Meers (JCS President).
