Faith In Action

The key mission of the John Carroll Society is to enrich the faith of our members and to serve the Archbishop of Washington. We are extremely proud of the many ways in which we provide service to Cardinal Wuerl and the Catholic community of metropolitan Washington, DC.

In the past year, our volunteers have contributed over $8 million to the pro bono legal network and over $4 million to the pro bono health care services. We have given hundreds of children a better Christmas through our St. Nicholas Toy Drive. We have provided 5 area high school students with scholarships to continue their Catholic education. We have provided much needed man power at the Sister's of Mercy residence. In addition, we have provided our members many opportunities for spiritual growth. Monsignor Vaghi gives his First Thursday and Friday reflections each month. Fr. Kevin Regan leads a group in Lecto Divina on the third Wednesday of most months.
